The BlackStairs Adventure Race takes place on Sun 30th April 2017 it is an adventure race with a difference in that we aim to cater for the athlete and their family. We want to ensure all our competitors enjoy the challenge at an affordable price without all the hidden extras, if you're fed up of forking out for expensive entry fees then this is the race for you as we will provide a high standard race that should attract elite to beginner adventure racers at a very affordable cost.

Driving times to Rathnure is approx 1hr 30 min from Dublin via N11 or alternatively via M9
40 min from Carlow, 40 min from Waterford, 40 min from Kilkenny and 35 min from Wexford Town.

The Event Start
The start for each event will take place in the village of Rathnure this is also the registration area. Rathnure is a small village in the foothills of the blackstairs mountains approx 8 miles from Enniscorthy, 9 miles from Bunclody and 10 miles from New Ross.

This is not a corporate event. All proceeds from the event will go directly back into the local community and facilities.
